Non si ferma il fenomeno delle piccole tartarughe (Caretta caretta) fortemente debilitate che continuano ad arrivare sulle spiagge italiane negli ultimi giorni. Nell’ospedale della Fondazione Cetacea sono arrivati fino ad oggi 52 esemplari. Una media di due al giorno.Archè, altra struttura di recupero che lavora sui lidi ferraresi è arrivata a 14 esemplari e molti ne arrivano anche in Veneto e in Abruzzo. Da oltre un mese e mezzo il fenomeno continua a crescere ed i media ignorano gli appelli che le piccole strutture di volontariato, esistenti lungo le coste italiane, lanciano quotidianamente per avere supporto ed aiuto.
Does not stop the phenomenon of small debilitated turtles (Caretta caretta) that continue to arrive on Italian beach. 52 are the turtles recovered in the small hospital of Fondazione Cetacea in Riccione and other 14 arrive to Archè, on the Ferrara’s coast. News about other turtles come from Veneto and Abruzzo.
It is a real emergency and italian media does not speak about it. Small center of volunteers ask for help and collaboration with all the organization interested.
